Forensic anthropology is an applied subfield of biological anthropology that is centered on the analysis of human skeletal remains in medicolegal contexts, drawing methodology from archaeology, biological sciences, and the forensic sciences. This class will focus on human osteology and will introduce students to the human skeleton and dentition, as well as the methods and underlying theory applied in both forensic investigations and bioarchaeological contexts.
