What makes for good food and travel writing? Focusing on a few significant culinary traditions and food staples of the United Kingdom, we will consider food production and consumption from an interdisciplinary perspective the considers both history and culture, as well as nutrition. We will also investigate the genre of food and travel writing to better understand the skills necessary to produce dynamic, informed content. Our aim will be to explore and write about our culinary travel adventures in a way that accurately engages with food, nutrition, and culinary traditions from a variety of perspectives. [GE, W]
